What we collect

Almost nothing. MyRegoCheck does not require accounts, does not run analytics that identify you, and does not sell or share personal data — because we don't collect it.

The rego check form

When you type a registration plate or VIN into the form on our homepage, that text never leaves your browser. It is copied to your own clipboard so you can paste it on the official government portal, and it is never sent to our servers or to any third party by us.

Official government portals

Our buttons and form take you to official Australian state and territory government websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies — we have no control over what they collect once you leave our pages.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare may process basic technical data (such as IP addresses in server logs) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Advertising

We may display ads from third-party advertising networks (such as Google AdSense). These networks may use cookies to show you relevant ads and measure their performance. You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google's Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
